Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data finvora.space collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website, our newsletter and any email you send us.
Who we are
Finvora publishes financial market news, analysis and data tools at finvora.space. For any question about this policy, or about data we hold, write to legal@finvora.space.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you subscribe to The Finvora Daily we store the email address you enter, the page you subscribed from, and the date and time you confirmed. Nothing else is required: we do not ask for a name, a phone number or any financial detail. If you email one of our desks we keep that correspondence so we can answer it, and where a correction is involved so there is a record of what was raised.
Information collected automatically
Our host records standard server logs for every request: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and the time. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Cookies and similar storage are covered separately in our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
Email addresses are used for one purpose: sending the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell, rent or share our subscriber list. Server logs are used to keep the site available and secure. Aggregated, non-identifying traffic figures tell us which subjects readers actually read, which is how we decide what to cover.
The newsletter and double opt-in
Subscribing takes two steps. You enter your address, then you receive one email asking you to confirm it. Until you click that link nothing else is sent to you and your address is not added to the list; unconfirmed entries are discarded. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately and without explanation. You can also ask us to remove you by writing to legal@finvora.space.
Third parties
Parts of the site load from other companies, and your browser contacts them directly when a page renders:
- TradingView supplies the price ticker, charts, screeners and the economic calendar. Loading a widget sends your IP address and browser details to TradingView.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used across the site.
- Gravatar serves author avatars.
- Hostinger hosts the site and delivers our newsletter email.
These providers handle what they receive under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
How long we keep it
Subscriber addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, after which they are removed from the active list. Unconfirmed subscriptions are deleted automatically. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated. Email correspondence is kept while the matter is open, and longer only where a published correction makes a record necessary.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Withdrawing consent is always available and never penalised, and the unsubscribe link is the fastest route. Send any other request to legal@finvora.space and we will answer it. If you are in the EU or the UK and our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Security and international transfers
The site is served over HTTPS and access to subscriber data is limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our providers operate globally, so data may be processed on servers outside your country.
Children
Finvora is written for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to legal@finvora.space and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date below. Material changes affecting subscribers will also be announced in the newsletter.
